Tubi TV Is Changing the Industry by Making Streaming Free

If you’re looking to stream TV and movies for free, you’ve got limited options. Most likely you’re going to head to YouTube, but there are a couple of other services. There’s Pluto TV and Xumo that mimic cable television, then there’s Tubi TV that mimics the Netflix experience.

Free TV might sound too good to be true, but there’s always some cost. On Tubi, you’re going to have to endure some commercials while you watch. Perhaps this is to be expected, but the service also has a limited catalog. Content tends to be older, but there’s still a lot of variety. When you’ve finished your Netflix queue, Tubi might have some different content to explore.

Despite the age of its library, Tubi is doing quite well. It has over 33 million monthly users, most of whom are in a younger demographic. Now, the challenge is finding its core audience and separating itself from other streaming services. Users will appreciate the fact that Tubi is free, but they won’t use it without a good reason.
